Our Roots & Mission

Stories that nurture curious minds and kinder tomorrows.

Devi & Shera was founded on a simple realization: Indian mythology is not a collection of distant myths, but a vibrant living treasury of values, wonder, and courage for modern children.

Why We Created Devi & Shera

Like countless parents, we observed our children growing up surrounded by fleeting plastic toys, endless algorithmic screen time, and superhero narratives disconnected from their ancestral roots. When our children asked about Krishna playing the flute, Ganesha writing the Mahabharata, or Hanuman leaping across the ocean, we couldn’t find tactile, premium toys that honored those sacred stories with artistic respect.

Traditional offerings were either fragile porcelain idols not suited for toddlers, or cheap plastic figurines with harsh distorted audio. There was nothing soft enough for a 6-month-old to hug at bedtime, nothing interactive enough for an inquisitive 5-year-old, and nothing rich enough for family bedtime bonding.

That was the genesis of Devi & Shera. We set out to build an Indian cultural brand designed to international luxury standards: BIS-certified baby-safe fabrics, hand-embroidered details, gentle acoustics with authentic Vedic mantras, and interactive pop-up books that turn learning into pure discovery.

“We don’t preach morals—we tell enchanting stories. When a child hugs Baal Krishna or builds Ram Setu with Hanuman, they absorb compassion, resilience, and curiosity as naturally as breathing.”
